I'm a little behind with this review because of my wedding and also the fact that I wasn't crazy about any particular item in this box. But here ya go! This pretty little box arrived in my PO box a few days before the wedding and I finally got a chance to try them all out. Since these were all small items, here are my first impressions of these products.

  1. Milk Makeup Highlighter, $24- Although I love that this is a stick, and therefore easy to apply, it just isn't enough of a highlight for me personally. If you like a more subtle highlight that's easy to apply, this is for you. I'm also not a fan of the texture, it leaves a sort of sticky feeling and I'm more of a powder highlight kinda girl.
  2. Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, $49.50- This is a pretty decent sized sample, I've been using it a lot and I haven't run out yet, but I don't think I've gotten any results yet. I have tons of acne scars, so I don't think a little sample size can do much. If this product wasn't so pricey, I would probably purchase it and continue to use it just to see if prolonged use helps.
  3. Dr. Brandt Pores No More Cleanser, $36- Sadly I only got 2 uses out of this sample and didn't notice any difference in my skin.
  4. COOLA Mineral Face SPF 30 Unscented Matte Tint, $36- I was afraid this was going to be a little too dark or orange-y for my skin tone, but when I blended it into my skin, it was fine. It was very sheer and I couldn't even tell I had put it on. So sheer that I wondered what the point of tinting it was. I'm not a fan of the texture. It makes me feel chalky yet oily at the same time.
  5. Davines Naturaltech Replumping Hair Filler Superactive for all hair types, $40- I don't normally reach for hair products that claim to thicken or plump, since they usually leave a weird-feeling texture in my hair, but this one did not! However, I saw no positive difference in my hair texture either. But it smelled really good and the packaging is pretty.
  6. Davines Naturaltech Replumping Shampoo Elasticizing and  Hydrating for all hair types, $26.50- Again, this product smelled good but I didn't notice any difference in my hair texture.
  7. Davines Naturaltech Replumping Conditioner Elasticizing and  Hydrating for all hair types, $26.50- The conditioner didn't smell as good as the other two products and I didn't notice any difference.
Overall this box was disappointing. Besides item #2, I probably wouldn't try any of these products again. Hopefully my October box will be better suited to me!
