This outfit reminds me of something that I would have thrown together when I was 5 years old. I was really into mixing prints (or powerclashing, as I prefer to say), I always wanted to wear tights, but comfort was the most important thing to me, so I always wore a comfy t-shirt. But when I was 5, the t-shirt that I most likely was wearing was a Hanson t-shirt.
So this is 20 years later. Still mixing prints, still wearing tights every chance I get, and still prioritizing comfort.
This shirt is probably my favorite casual item in my closet. I bought it 8 years ago and it's been my go-to comfy shirt since. I'm surprised that it hasn't fallen apart yet, but I'm definitely not complaining. Usually I only wear it with jeans, but this season I've been pairing it with skirts. I've been obsessed with skirts lately-- which is slightly inconvenient with how cold it's been.
The only thing that isn't typical Amanda is the camo coat. I always had an aversion to camo until I found this coat at an L.L. Bean outlet. I circled the store a few times and each time I would come back and look at it till I eventually tried it on. Next thing I knew, I was walking out of the store with it. It has a ton of pockets, fuzzy lining, and Thinsulate, so it keeps me nice and warm without being ridiculously puffy.
